In addition to working for UNIT Solutions, Christopher C. Spence has worked at LSDS since 2012, shortly after the company was established. He has worked as the Operations Director and is now a Project Lead within LSDS, managing two of company’s primary lines of effort.
Prior to joining LSDS, he worked for American Special Group, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business, in sales, marketing and analysis, and provided operational experience to the development of a vehicle during the Special Operations competition to replace their HMMWV fleet. Christopher served for 25 years in the Army and 17 of those years were exclusively spent in the United States Army Special Forces. Christopher was recognized as the lead facilitator for the first expansion of Special Forces capabilities in 20 years for the entire Special Operations Community. During this expansion, Christopher was responsible for the manning, equipping, budgeting and training of the new battalion, which served as the template for all other Special Forces Groups.
Prior to and after the expansion of the new battalion, Christopher worked in Systems Design, Operations and Process Management for a 4500-hundred-man organization, conducting international operations. This included, but was not limited to, the coordination, deployment, redeployment, and recovery of 400 man elements conducting operations within the Middle East and Central Asian States. He has extensive expertise in combat, unconventional warfare, and humanitarian operations internationally.
