Brigadier General (Ret.) Craig Nixon retired from the U.S. Army in 2011 as Deputy Director of Operations in U.S. Central Command. Previously in his 29-year career, Nixon also served as the Director of Operations for U.S. Special Operations Command and commanded the 75th Ranger regiment during combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Following his retirement from the Army, Nixon joined the McChrystal Group as a partner where he led consulting engagements at two Fortune 500 technology companies, and was a senior advisor to chief executives on strategy and change management. Nixon then served as Chief Executive Officer for Academi, a company providing risk assessment, training and security solutions.
Nixon graduated from Auburn University with a degree in business and holds two Masters Degrees in Military History and Strategic Studies.
